THE DOMAIN
Le vin est terroir, miroir, matière et transmission
Wine is terroir

WINE IS THE MIRROR OF MEN
Here in Madiran, the winegrowers will not tell you otherwise as this wine of character marked by the original grape variety, Tannat, has the accent of the men and women who shape it.
In this vineyard which straddles the three departments, one would think that there is no place for women.
Think again ! Domaine Sergent is the very embodiment of this change in mentality.
For 20 years, wine has flowed through the veins ofBrigitte and Corinne Dousseau, worthy heirs to the family estate who continue the work masterfully carried out by Gilbert, their father.
Their wines are pampered, cared for, raised and loved like their own children,
an extra touch of femininity!

WINE is matter
The vines are conducted in demi haughty and pruned in simple guyot.
The risk of frosts away, the vines are disbudded in order to spread out the grapes and limit the yield.
After flowering, manual stripping is carried out, followed by green harvesting.
The harvest generally begins the first week of October.
